Hardaway’s Whiskey Bar

When looking out along The Black Warrior River, you will find what was once considered the country’s longest trestle bridge at 3,600 feet. Located in Historic Northport, this wooden and steel bridge was designed and constructed by 1887 University of Alabama graduate, Benjamin Hardaway.

The Levee’s bar is named after Hardaway paying homage to the man that greatly improved transportation in West Alabama and heralded an era of economic development in the early 20th century.
